    Hi everybody,

    This online amputee community is fantastic; Great opportunity to exchange some ideas and technical informations.

    I have been an amputee for more than 15 years, I was 24. I got a motorbike accident resulting in my left leg amputation in the same day.

    I do enjoy my life and practise many sports as mountain climbing, alpine ski, cycling, running and football (soccer). I am interested in exchanging experiences with other amputees.

    How did you learn how to ski? Did you get a special instructor or did you teach yourself? I'm from Fla but I want to take a skiing trip but I'm not exactly sure how to go about learning. Any tips?

    Hey Chris, Looks like you have things well in hand. I am not quite to your level (running/ski) but your pics provide inspiration. I have a question. Have you skiied with a prothesis?
