Hi everyone! I have a question for those of you who have a congenital limb defenciency (sp). A few months ago I found out that I am pregnant. My husband and I are very excited but I am also very concerned about the possiblity of passing down to my child my birth defects. I have read and read and read on the topic, but was hoping to get some insight from all of you. If you were born with a limb defiencency from birth, and you've had children, were the defects passed on to your child? They are unsure exactly what caused my defects, theres 2 possible causes, one being my mothers gestational diabetes, the other being that she took bendectine, which was a drug giving in the 80's for morning sickness and was taken off the market shortly after I was born for causing birth defects in children.... either of the two could have caused my problems. I am just curious for any feedback. Also for any women that are bk amputee's that went through a pregnancy, what type of impact did it have on your leg?
Thank you for your input!!

All my "toes" are fused together on my fake foot, so no flip flops for me. I should look into another sort of foot.
