Hi everyone, It has been a long time since I posted I know! Hope this finds you all well! I have been extremely busy lately which is why I haven't been on much lately... I have a question, I joined a gym a few weeks ago and I'm having a time w/ my leg sweating inside the liner, which causes a whole new set of issues for me. My leg loses suction and I'm having a difficult time holding it on. I called my prosthetist and she told me to use spray deoderant (Sp)... but that hasn't helped at all, half way through my workout, I have to go to the bathroom and dry out my leg b/c I can't hold it on anymore... then go back out again... has anyone had this issue and is there anything you use for it, I've tried powder... but that just makes the liner loose suction also.... I'm up for any suggestions you might have... Thanks!
Christie!

I sweat a lot in my liner too but since I am currently on a pin system instead of a vacuum system. Mine hasn't come loose yet, but I have thought of some ideas incase it does start doing that.
James1. Some sort of stretchie or spandix sleeve that goes over your leg and socket to help hold it on.
or.
2. Get a comfortable belt and add on a strap that would go down the side of your leg and attach to your prosthetic. Sort of gives your imagination a picture of a mens sock garter or a woman's garter belt doesn't it?
Yeah it is all sort of comical but have seen examples of both being used. A guy I know that is an amputee and rides a motorcycle uses the sleeve to help keep his leg on so it won't come off while he rides.
