Every year I celebrate life on the anniversary of losing my right arm. I remind myself how lucky I am to still have my left arm and to remind myself of all the things I can still do and not what I can't do. Coming up on 12 years after my amputation I have found many tricks of doing everything one handed. I think about having two hands now and thinking it wouldn't be right and almost weird, even tho that is the norm. I know life is a gift and we shouldn't waste a single day of it. I am thankful for life

Hello Cassie!!! Wonderful attitude you have. Glad to have you on the site. You seem experienced at handling things with only one arm, why not spread some wisdom around the site. We have a lot of people learning that life isn't over and are searching for ideas on how to face it. James |
