    How it happend

My name is CuShun Melson. On Dec. 23, 2005 me along side my best friend went driving. I wish I could remember that night. While on our way to pick up another friend I lost control of the car. The car began to flip down hill, we went over a stop sign, knocked down a light pole, and struck a tree. My Bestfriend was ejected from the car because he did not choose to ware his seat belt. He died later on that night. I obtained life threating injuries: I Shattered the bones in my left ankle, my right was ripped off, my femur (thigh bone) broke outside of my leg, I also shattered the bones in my left forearm, and along with  open wound fractur on my right tri-ceip.

On April 19, 2006 I had half of my right foot amputeed. So I got spend my 18th birthday in the hospital. Lucky me I still got the chance to walk with my class that following May. Its going on 2 yrs. now since my accident and I'm still not use to body and its changes. I have pushed my body to its limits. I started walking way before the predicted time my doctors set. I'm doing things that I was told I wouldn't be able to do anymore, but now its like I've hit a wall. An because of my amputation it has become very hard and stressful to try and work out my right leg. An if anyone knows anything to help me out I am all ears.
