Why would we want to know more about that? I wish I'd never heard about devotees. I think it is so freakin weird.

i don't really understand what all the fuss is about. is it bad to have someone adore you and want to take care of you because you are an amputee. there are men who only like large women. there are men who only like big tata's. i just must not really get the whole thing. are they dangerous or something? not being a smart a--,i just don't know what all the fear and disgust is about. please enlighten me.

In response to Kim's question "what's the fuss about devos?" I would respond that it's not a big deal, as long as the "devoted" person is (1) upfront & honest about his proclivities (2)has some capacity to see the amputee as more than just a stump to get off on and (3) will go away if asked to. Some amputees have been traumatized by their limb loss. The last thing they want is someone who is attracted to the very source of their pain. This is where the comparison between amputated limbs and big TaTas gets lost on me.

But let's say there's no difference. Most of my friends who have big TaTas don't appreciate a man who focuses his energy and conversations exclusively on her TaTas. She is not comfortable being barraged by a litany of questions, like... "How do you manage in life with your big TATAs?" "How do your TATAs cope with exercise?" "How do your Big TaTas get up and down stairs?" "How do you dress your TATAS?" "How do people who don't have big TaTas respond to your Big TaTas when you're out in public?" Oh, and then the famous request "Can you send me a close up of your TATAs working out in the gym or wearing a swimsuit?"

Do all devotees do that? No. There are well-mannered guys and creeps in every walk of life. So we all have to be careful about who we open our lives up to. I worry about the new female amputee who does not know these guys exist. She has a right to know if some dude on our support site is truly here to support her, or just getting off on hearing about her struggles and seeing pictures of her stump.

Well said JO. Kim if you want to enlighten yourself about this topic there is plenty of it on the net.I have to be honest when I first was made aware or this back about 7 years ago. I was really taken back, but what bothered me way more was the thought of people wanting to be amputees, wanting to be paralyzed. Some of the wants go hand in hand with sexual fetishes. I honestly don't care to know anymore about it. I agree that there are some good men that have this devoteism. Like I say on my site
"It's extremely difficult to lead further than one has gone themselves".We have our fair share on this site. I'm sure some would be open to the topic.
