Dear Presidential Candidate

During this political season I hear the candidates talk about Health care for all.

The government already has a healthcare system its called the Department of Veterans Affairs hospital system.

The clients are those youth of America that have given so the rest of us can enjoy freedom.

You want to see how the US Government runs a Healthcare system please feel free to come with me to my next appointment at the VA Hospital.

I am afraid that it does NOT quite live up to what expectations are.

well man I am telling ya free health care may not be what you are ya looking for either telling from the place that has it. Freedom isn't free. One of the by products is the advancement with prosthetics. I was at WRMAC as part of a Canadian group looking at amputee care. all of the systems have a ton of way to go. The biggest one that needs to be drugged along is Insurance. I don't have the space to write here what I think of those buggars. Once there is more understanding about what is normal functioning and what a high functioning amp needs then will there be an effective shift.

    Ed,
As a veteran myself I can say that without Tricare (military health insurance) I would have lost my house and everything my wife and I worked all our lives for. There are problems with the system (finding specialist that accept Tricare is hard) but it is also not free. We gave over 20 years of our lives to earn this benefit and it would be alot better if it was better funded. If you live over 50 miles from the nearest military facility try to get your case picked up by Tricare.
