Does anyone know if there is a certain "clearance" for some of the better running legs like the blades? My stump is unusually long, and I don't know if the blades require a shorter stump to be able to use them.
Thanks!

Perspiration and Working Out

OK, you all may already know this, but I just found out some great info on sweat control at a Half Marathon this weekend (and yes, if I sound proud of the fact that I ran a half marathon, it's because I am). First find which is cheap and easy is Certain-Dri. It's a liquid anti-perspirant that you put on at night and it's the first thing I've found that actually makes any difference and I tried everything else. It shrinks your pores so they don't sweat Second, some of the other more hardcore runners said they get botox injections in their stumps because the botox closes off the pores altogether. I haven't tried it personally and am not saying you should do it, but that's a suggestion if you're desperate Tags:

Hey Gwyn, I have my revision surgery on the 30th. The docs told me I would be off work for 8 weeks if all goes well. I'm pretty nervous
