It's funny that you say that because recently mine has been hurting a LOT as well as throbbing pain in my knee. I've always been warned via my doctors to not "hop" and to always use my crutches, but honestly it's 'easier' to just get up and go instead of getting up, picking up my crutches and going where ever. I know in the back of my head that I'll pay for the laziness of not wanting to use my crutches sooner rather than later in life, but silly me keeps thinking, it'll be 'fine'.... I've hopped literally my whole life. I can't imagine not hopping! :) Erin |

I ended up having to have a hip replacement on my "good" side. everybody always asked if it was from all those years of basicily carring most of my weight on it. I guess it was, seemed to make sense to me. It got pretty bad for me, put me back in a wheelchair and I couldn't really walk at all. after the hip replacement I was back limited walking on crutches in about 2 days. I was on the fast track in rehab for that one, 3days and they booted me out, said there was nothing else they could do for me there. one of those been there, done that, things. took about 6-8 weeks to get better where I didn't have to favor the hip anymore. I was shocked how easy and well it all went. sure beats being in pain there too.
