Happy Thanksgiving!!

Hello Everyone.... Happy Holidays to all. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and eat well!! Don't forget to give thanks to all important people in your life. I want to give thanks to all my friends and family. I don't know where I would be if I didn't have them to talk to and help me thru the rough days. I have a lot of support from my husband, kids, friends and ofcourse doctors and therapy. Although I no longer attend therapy, I must thank them for all the help they gave me in getting me walking and mobile. I would like to say thank you to my wonderful husband Chuck for being there for me day in and day out. He really is my hero. He takes care of me everyday and for that I will always be greatful! My kids are wonderful helpers too. I want to thank my kids for keeping me going everyday. They help out with what they can and do what they can to take care of they're mommy. I truly have the most wonderful children!! And finally I want to thank the rest of my family and friends for putting up with me LOL and being there when I needed to talk or someone to cry to and so on. Life has been a roller coaster, but I must say I have enjoyed most of it. Take care of yourselves and enjoy Thanksgiving with the people in your life that deserve it... I know you do:) Keep smiling!

Progress

Hi Ya'll

How is everyone? I seem to be making good progress. My phantom pain has subsided tremendously and I am walking much better. I still have some bad pain in my back from walking but I am going to be getting shots in my back at the end of this month to assist with that. I am starting back to college this Thursday! I am so excited. Getting my bachelors degree in Criminal Justice is a dream I have had for such a long time that I thought would never be able to happen due to my disability but hell, I'm going for it. There is plenty of jobs I can do in the Criminal Justice field I can do without needing to meet certain physical requirements of a police officer right? Hope all is well and if there is anything exciting to chat about; let me know:)
