Hi Donna, |

Hi Donna, |
|
|
thanks for the comments. My sockets are all made such that my knee is supported, too many old powerlifting injuries and just plain old age (:P) has worn my knees out some. James |

I am cruuently a LBK and my doctor gave me the truth so coldly because I made him prommise that he would NEVER let emotion get in the way of out relationship. I thought that I would be able to take the news better if their was no emotional attachment. I was wrong. Well like I said I had 1 leg amputated and now after 3 years I may have to come to grip with the fact that I may have to give up my other leg. ROBERT |

I totally agree, Parents do think there children are being rude, I love when Children ask out of curiosity and you can teach them something. |

All I have right now is my "sport utility" leg. I want to get a Cheetah when I finish school. I hear they are amazing. I can afford the blade, but not the new socket. Chris |

Thanks for the welcome Donna, it was truly appreciated! I sure hope this site proves to be a positive outlet and experience for me as I go through this trial. By the way you are gorgeous! Thanks again! Emily |

I started with Hanger. Was with them for 8 months and every socket he put me in would never work. The leg man is pretty young there and not very experienced. So he called in Kevin Carroll and he put me in a liner with the the ring around it. That didnt work either. So I decided to switch . |

Hey Donna, thanks for the nice welcome. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting the other nurses yet but I'm looking forward to it! Thanks for the words of encouragement, seems I need them on a daily basis right now. Just learning to walk on my prosthetics and I can see where I'm gonna need heaps of patience with this but I will perservere! Thanks again and take care!
