This is my very first blog.  Ever.  I've never considered belonging to any support group of my kind of disability for 13 years....some friends knew, some friends(new)wonder, others well, I just let 'em wonder too. . .it was quite challenging explaining to people about disabilities...being an amputee...you see, I live in a culture that has a very limited view, limited awareness of PWDs. . . a culture of malls, celfones, moviestars, what-have-yous....surprisingly, I've blended well but then am just being me, most of the time forgetting I'm missing a limb.  Yeah, it has become non-existent to a point...just don't remind me.  I don't talk about it with friends....much less blog about it.   But one thing I'm sure of,  I'm glad a friend shared this website (no, she has two perfect, sexy legs...).  She read my mind.
