I learned several years ago when a close family member became disabled due to no fault of their own, that there is little in life that can not be overcome. It created an entirely new awareness and watching the drive of this person -- and subsequently of others of a similarly differently abled nature -- tought me that there is nothing more wonderful than supporting those who have fallen victim to tragedy, and extending an opportunity to enable them to turn it into a stepping stone to a successfi; tomorrow, and not a hinderance from the past. Disabiliies are such only in the minds of those who see them as such. As a result, I have become a committed, yet low key and quiet, supporter of the amputee community and have taken this subject very close to heart. I have opened up my companies, my endeavors and my personal life to this unique tribe of individuals and have found that you work harder and are more dedicated and reliable in the workplace and you make for much better and more genuine personal companionships. Those who do not see this are the ones that are truly handicapped! I am the CEO of several entertainment and hospitality based companies in the southeast and will always try to do everyting I can to support this wonderful community. If you are looking for a possible opportunity or just a friend, let me know. Photo forthcoming.
