    Need help with devotees

    Hi.  This is my first blog.  I am really struggling with understanding and dealing with devotees.  I am contacted a lot on other sites by devotees.  I also had a relationship with someone for over a year that I now think is a devotee.  I found out that he got involved with someone else shortly after we stopped seeing each other.  I have now discovered that she is also an amputee.

     I would love to hear from others about their opinions on this subject.  Personally, I, don't like being targeted by people because of my amputations.  I am finding it hard to trust people when it comes to dating because I wonder if they are only interested in my amputations.

    I find that so bizzare, but this isn't the first time I've heard about devotees. I don't get it. I'm glad I'm married so I don't have to worry about why a guy likes me. I hope you find someone real.

    I am sorry, what do you mean by devotee?

    I am new to this and don't understand. Are you saying someone that simply want to be around and with you due to your amputation?


    I am also in Ga, in McDonough. I have a BKA that I am just starting to walk on with crutches. My wife has been awesome with it.

    definatly a tricky subject. I have been stalked before for that reason and it is hard. I also have a great friend who put it like this. Find a person who is interested in the whole person, and if a missing limb adds to your beauty great. If it adds to or compliments you, go for it. But be careful that it is not one of those crazy stalker types.
