I think this sight is wonderful and so helpful. I wish there was a sight 20 years ago when Melissa first found out she had cancer. All of you seem so strong and positive and God Bless U for that. WHY you may ask? Do you realize how you help US, the parents. Your positive attitude gives us the strength to go on. There is nothing in this world more precious than a child and when something happens to that child and you feel completely out of control, you want to die. Melissa has been my strength. I see her smile and walk with her crutches and drive and do everything she wants to do, my heart grows. I love her so much. I love you all for all you wisdom, strength and courage. Hi Jane, Thank you for your message. I to have been dealing with osteo sarcoma for 13 years. They finally amputated 4 months ago. Your daughter Mellissa has inspired me to reevaluate myself. I am trying to get my controls changed soI can drive. Sometimes I feel likeI am in prison if I don"t start driving. On 11/15 which is tommorow I am going to San Fran to have a cat scan to see if I have mets in the lungs. Of course I am fearful since I have had sarcoma4 times. Thanks for sharing Mellisas story . I'm sure I speak for everyone here when I say we appreciate your kind words. I have children of my own and I can't imagine what you have been going through. Seems to me Melissa really is a strong person and she says she gets that from you. So you've been doing your job and that's what it's all about. Thanks again.
