    Mike,

I appreciate the comments. So many things in this life the liberals want to protect us from, well, we can't even live anymore unless we have a law or regulation for everything. I can't wait till they pass a law regulating my colon for difficult stool passing. It is just foolish how they now are saying MRSA is a problem when it has been around so long. I want to prevent it as much as possible, but also expect to be called home by some weird happenstance like you. Hey, stay in touch...Dave

Thanks so much Mike for the info on limbsforlife! That is so cool. Wow..this site as a networking resource really works.

I am thankful that my pro's are covered by Nationwide insurance until I am in my 60's I think. Hopefully by then I won't be going through them as often. I guess I get a new pro's every 3 years. I should probably get a new one sooner than that but I really hate the process because I am so hard to fit due to all the scare tissue on my stump. Somewhere along the fitting process I usually end up breaking down and I HATE THAT!! So, I procrastinate when it comes to getting fitted for a new pro's yet I am always so happy with the fit and feel of a new pro's afterwards and continually tell myself that I should not procrastinate so next time. I usually wait until my current pro's is falling a part...literally.

Anyway, while I don't have a personal need for the site I have met a few people who have no pro's because they have no insurance nor all the money to fork out for one but they don't qualify for any state medicaid/assistance either. So, again, thanks for this valuable info. I am going to add it to my resource blog so it will be easy for me to find in the future.

Have a Great Weekend Mike. As always, its a pleasure to talk to you.

You are not stupid. A lot of the time we all get worried about things that we shouldn't worry about. I try to concentrate on things I should worry about - The Middle East, Taxes, Global Warming and "Where did I leave my car keys?"

i am too stupid to think about the obvious, that people are in planes all the time with horrible injuries. although i am still scared for cate to fly so soon after surgery, i am sure it will be fine. your reminder really put me at ease.

thanks for takin the time to remind me.
