    Hi Guys. So here we go with the first post. This is the format 
    we'll follow for he group.  Try to stick to the format so it's easy to use and track.

    Disability: Right Shoulder Disarticulation (No arm)

    Left Above Knee Amputation

    How?: Pedestrian Train Wreck. You should see the train.

    Goals: Swim, Ski, Raise my boys just as I would
    have before the wreck

    Done that!: Crushed Soda Cans with bionic hand. Rode my bike into my
    SUV. Survived.

    Motto: The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

    Great idea for a group! I am looking to meet other hip disartics who use a prosthesis as I am having trouble learning.

    jay is there such a thing as a bionic hand? i heard about and was getting a mioelectric , but i stupidly declined. i spent 16,000 us dollars for a aestetic its made in france and is identical to my left. i dont never use it it just looks good. why bother i figure. the claw style i seen but never had one.

    How?:Antiphosholipid coagulation disorder- 2 femoral/popliteal bypasses on the right leg, 2 amputations on the left leg(first below the knee,then above the knee)

    Goals: World Peace,Quit smoking cigarettes, build a self sustaining cob/strawbale gnomehome in the woods

    Done that!: Sang "White Rabbit" in a cablevision movie when I was 16, Am listed in "Who's Who in American Junior Colleges", and my biggest achievement to date....gave birth to 3 beautiful healthy babies who have grown up to be 3 beautiful (inside and out!)adults
