    running!!!

Its been zonks since I have written, so thought I had better update.....

I finally got my 'running leg' 2 weeks ago. Its totally fab! Now of course I have to learn how to run, which is soooo much harder than I thought it would be. If I am inbetween the parallel bars, I get the movement happening no worries, but as soon as I am on the grass or concrete, my 'good' leg holds back. I am obviously scared of falling, even though I know perfectly well that I will fall a million times in order to get it right. Hmmmmm...any suggestions to 'free my mind?'

Other than that, I have finally joined a gym after being unhappy with the weight I have put on since my accident. I feel excellent. Although, after 20 minutes walking pretty quickly on the treadmill, I have to take off my liner and wipe it down as it is so wet my leg starts to turn around!! Then I go back on for another 20 minutes, do my weights etc. Is there anyway that anyone knows of to control the sweating inside of the liner? I just figured that the more my body gets used to all the exercise, the better it will get.

I wish I had started the gym 2 years ago because I feel terrific. We are going to Europe to see my husbands family and to travel a bit in 6 weeks, so at least I'll be able to walk a lot further before getting tired!

I hope everyone else is doing great and are happy!! Take care xxxx
