Atlast I am perking up a bit, it is now day nine after surgery for revision of stump and removal of a nasty neuroma. Recovery is slow but glad to have it behind me, sick of hospital and missing my wife and children so much. I could not have the surgery at our local hospital so I travelled almost 600 km's to Christchurch's Saint Georges Hospital. They have been wonderful but I am very keen to get out of here.

I hope you recover quickly and can get the heck out of there and back to your family Stuart! Thanks for the update! JO |

Hello! My name is Forrest. Im about to have my stump worked on also. I have 2 bone spurs and im wanting to remove about 8 inches of redundant tissue from the bottom of my stump.
Forrest BrownWhat problems were you having that you had to get it revised? Did you get yours reshaped? Is it very painful?
Im debating whether I should get the tissue removed but it just flops around and I believe it will make fitting better.
