Have not been back to the site for a while.  It is a great site.  I am pleased to announce I have been back to work since Sept.  I am the first SFPD officer with one leg.  I have been on patrol and will go to the foot beat, I am not kidding, on Wednesday the 4th of June.  Very exciting time.  I will include an up to date photo of me, and my dog.  He is much bigger now.

I lost my leg 2 years ago (Nov. 05) in a motorcycle wreck.  A guy made a left turn in front of me and that was it.  I flew in the air and my leg fell off.  I guess it didn't really fall off but it was no longer with me.  It was a crazy night because the cops who responded to the wreck were the same guys I worked with.  It was crazy for all of us.  I am just getting back to work.  I am proud to say that I am the first amputee police officer in the history of the San Francisco Police Dept.  I am currently working light duty and will return to full duty by the end of Oct./Nov.  We will see.  It is alot of hard work staying in shape.
