    Active Amputees

Hello all. I was glad to find this new site. When I became an Amputee over seven years ago, I didn't know who to talk with. There were no Amputee Support Groups in my area, so I decided to organize one last year. The group meets once a month. We offer Education, Advocacy, Interesting guest speakers and moral support. I have become active in my community with other social services. I enjoy horse-back riding, fishing, hiking and bowling. I have joined a Wheelchair rugby team. I try to show other Amputees that life can still be fun and active.

    Take Care

HI Debbie, thanks for the friend add, im late in getting to this but i finally have time to sit down and write something instead of just checking messages Lol. I just want everyone to know that i've known this girl for some time now, and Debbie is one of the sweetest and most wonderful individuals that i've ever encountered im my lifetime. She's made her life's purpose that of improving the lives of others, and that is the one great and noble purpose which we were all put on this earth to accomplish. She is truly a wonderful woman with a beautiful soul. Its a great pleasure to know you my dear, and im very proud and happy to have you as my friend :)
