I have had many an ingrown hair that have gotten infect, and boy do they suck. Some of them have resulted my being rushed to the emergency room to have the ingrown hair popped... YUCK, this is clearly not one of the perks of amp life... I always keep a close eye on any ingrown hairs I get on my stumps, and can no longer shave my lower legs for fear of getting another ingrown hair. If they stick around for more than a day or so, I end up going to the doc to have them opened up, then it is a day or so with no legs on keeping the wound nice and clean. Cleanliness is next to godliness or something...

I have...Hate it too...makes wearing that darn socket soo uncomfortable..messes with your gait...I usually just cut a hole in my sock to ease the pressure..then pop it like a zit (sorry..kinda disgusting)
