    hi y'all!

    just telling some stuff today about me.

    i have to undergo surgery, because the one whole knee i have is killing me.

    it never has been in a good state, but lately i gave much pain. examination by the doc with xray said  that the end of the bone is splintering a bit and that it is to close to the end of the stump.

    so going in tommorrow! wish me luck, and i will do a post as soon i feel ok enough again

    Hi Patty, Know how you are feeling. I have two operations coming up within the next month. Keep your head up and the best of luck.

    Patty Had a total knee replacement on the intact leg done early last summer. It went very well indeed. Now the doc is drooling to do the knee on the stump, as he says there is no record of doing a total knee on a stump, and he wants to be the first. He says the shortness of the stump, about 2 1/2 inches below the knee, will make an interesting challenge. I haven't taken him up on the second replacement. I DO hope it goes well for you, and that whatever is causing the pain can be fixed. Hurting SUCKS. Keep us posted Luck Ben
