    Your Disability Hip-disarticulation
How long have you been an amputee? 0-1 year
How did you become disabled? I was run over by an 18 wheeler
About Me On March 30th 2005, I was in a horrible motorcycle accident where I was run over by a semi truck (yes, you read it right…run over(and dragged 30’)). I came close to being with my "Father". During the first few months there were many complications. Even to this day, doctors tell me that I am a “very unique and complicated" case. I spent almost 2 years in bed trying to save my leg but January of 2007 the doctors took it. I’m actually better off and get around on crutches. I don’t wallow in self pity. Instead I enjoy life to the fullest. After dieing seven times (requiring to be resuscitated) people ask me if I see life differently. Is the sky bluer or the grass greener? And I’ve always been one to enjoy life to the fullest so the answer would be no. I will tell you what has changed, I laugh louder, I smile bigger, I live larger and I love deeper. I care about riders, but more importantly I care about people. If I can help better or even save, someone’s (just one persons) life because of what I have suffered, then it was all worth it. And if I can help someone (even one person) who was injured, get their life back because of my attitude, and then it was worth it as well. God allowed me to survive for a reason and that reason wasn't for me, it was to help others.
Music I have probably one of the most eclectic tastes in music. Don’t believe me? I enjoy everything from Mozart to Tommy Dorsey, from Elvis Presley to Elvis Costello, The Beatles, AC/DC to ZZ Top, The Eagles, Jimmy Buffett, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra to Frankie goes to Hollywood, Berlin, Greenday, Offspring, Sublime, Akon, Eminem, The Sex Pistols, from Queen to Prince and everything in between
Movies When it comes to movies I enjoy a good laugh, a good cry and a good scare. Some of my favorite movies are Scarface, Casino, Goodfellas, Saw, Hostel, The Matrix, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, What Dreams may Come, The Notebook to name a few.
TV I love Family Guy, South Park, Futurama, Jacka$$, reality cop shows and extreme chases and accidents
    Dislikes Liars, Cheaters and Theives
Hobbies Traveling, acting, drawing, painting, playing guitar, and of course X-Box 360
    Heroes My hero's have scars
Here For Not Specified, Friendships, Networking
    Relationship Status Committed Relationship
    Orientation Straight
    Children Proud Parent
    Number of Children 1
    Body Type Some extra baggage

    Just a biker

    JUST A BIKER

I saw you; hug your purse closer to you in the grocery store line.

But you didn't see me put an extra £10.00 in the collection plate last Sunday.

I saw you pull your child closer when we passed each other on the sidewalk.

But you didn't see me playing Santa at the local Mall.

I saw you change your mind about going into the restaurant when you saw my bike parked out front.

But you didn't see me attending a meeting to raise more money for the hurricane relief.

I saw you roll up your window
and shake your head when I rode by.

But you didn't see me riding behind you when you flicked your cigarette butt out the car window.

I saw you frown at me when I smiled at your children.

But you didn't see me, when I took time off from work to run toys to the homeless.

I saw you stare at my long hair.

But you didn't see me and my friends cut ten inches off for Locks of Love.

I saw you roll your eyes at our Leather jackets and gloves.

But you didn't see me and my brothers donate our old ones to those that had none.

I saw you look in fright at my tattoos.

But you didn't see me cry as my children where born or have their name written over and in my heart.

I saw you change lanes while rushing off to go somewhere.

But you didn't see me going home to be with my family.

I saw you, complain about how
loud and noisy our bikes can be.

But you didn't see me when you were changing the CD and drifted into my lane.

I saw you yelling at your kids in the car.

But you didn't see me pat my child's hands knowing she was safe behind me.

I saw you reading the newspaper or map as you drove down the road.

But you didn't see me squeeze my wife's leg when she told me to take the next turn.

I saw you race down the road in the rain.

But you didn't see me get soaked to the skin so my son could have the car to go on his date.

I saw you run the yellow light just to save a few minutes of time.

But you didn't see me trying to turn right.

I saw you cut me off because you needed to be in the lane I was in.

But you didn't see me leave the road.

I saw you, waiting impatiently for my friends to pass.

    But you didn't see me.

    I wasn't there.

I saw you go home to your family.

    But you didn't see me.

Because I died that day you cut me off.

    I was just a biker.

A person with friends and a family.

    But you didn't see me.

    Questions I Ponder

    Thursday, November 20, 2008, 07:00 AM [General]

How important does a person have to be before they are considered assassinated instead of just murdered?

If you have sex with a prostitute against her will, is it considered rape or shoplifting?

Why do you have to "put your two cents in"... but it's only a "penny for your thoughts"?  Where's that extra penny going to?

Why does a round pizza come in a square box?

What disease did cured ham actually have?

How is it that we put man on the moon before we figured out it would be a good idea to put wheels on luggage?

Why is it that people say they "slept like a baby" when babies wake up like every two hours?

If a deaf person has to go to court, is it still called a hearing?

Why are you IN a movie, but you're ON TV?

Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?

Why do doctors leave the room while you change?

They're going to see you naked anyway..

Why is "bra" singular and "panties" plural?

Why do toasters always have a setting that burns the toast to a horrible crisp, which no decent human being would eat?

If Jimmy cracks corn and no one cares, why is there a stupid song about him?

Can a hearse carrying a corpse drive in the carpool lane ?

If the professor on Gilligan's Island can make a radio out of a coconut, why can't he fix a hole in a boat?

Why does Goofy stand erect while Pluto remains on all fours?

    They're both dogs!

If Wile E. Coyote had enough money to buy all that ACME crap, why didn't he just buy dinner?

If corn oil is made from corn, and vegetable oil is made from vegetables, what is baby oil made from?

If electricity comes from electrons, does morality come from morons?

Do the Alphabet song and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star have the same tune?

Why did you just try singing the two songs above?

Did you ever notice that when you blow in a dog's face, he gets mad at you, but when you take him for a car ride, he sticks his head out the window?
