Hi Relax....welcome! I'm new myself and thank you for inviting me to be your friend...everyone so friendly here!

hey relax...no secret..it was literally a car, crashing in on my leg, literally pinning it on a concrete wall. Quite tragic for a 23 yr old back then, huh? Morphines,Prozacs, anti-dep drugs, etc., tried 'em all. Did it help? Nah. I figured out I needed to accept myself, love myself, believe in myself no matter what. It's the hardest thing I'm learning in my situation. A very obvious loss that I have to live through and experience life with. It's a learning experience and a challenging one!

I see that you live in the Philippines. Now there was a terrible typhoon. Did it hit you? In which area do you live?
Many years ago I visited Manila during a weekend when I flew from Hongkong to Singapore. I made a stopover for 2 days. I remember very well, because a friend lent me his car together with his driver and so we went to south and I saw the most beautiful crater lake and the church with the bamboo organ.
What is your profession? Has the amputation of your leg influenced your profession? Do you walk with prosthesis?
