    Getting a new check socket

    Been wearing an old check socket while my body changes post-surgical. Now I have a new socket and hope it fits better. Been going to Hanger Prosthetics and using the c-leg with a helix hip. Walking has been very tough and I hope the new socket makes it a bit easier.

    Hi Raymond; Interested in corresponding. I had right hemi surgery this past December. Was moving ahead pretty good with home pt visits, then gallbladder blew in February and then infection at amp section in March knocked me down again. How long have you been told recovery is? Are you driving? What type of wheelchair do you have? I am renting both a manual one (trips) and an elec. tilt chair (for in house). I'm interested in a lightweight manual one that breaks down so I can drive again.
