    Wonderful Pillow!!!

Wednesday, September 30, 2009, 10:48 AM CST [General]

Hi! I wanted to let everyone know that I've started my own small business...

    www.ZenSomniac.com

These are wonderful little pillows that I started making just for myself after my car accident, when I was having alot of trouble getting comfortable enough to sleep.  This little pillow made an amazing difference in my life, and eventually my family members wanted to try one.  I made several and let family and friends try them out.  Everyone LOVED it and encouraged me to offer them to the public.  So, I have opened an online store in hopes of helping others.  The pillows are inexpensive and I believe that if you try one, you'll never go back to the traditional "bed" pillow.  Even the kids love 'em!!!  Speaking of the kids, I will also make a matching blanket...would make a great Christmas present.

Let me know what you think!  Thanks a bunch to everyone.

    Sincerely,

    Ronda

    THE BIG DAY!!

Wednesday, January 23, 2008, 08:37 PM CST [General]

Today is Wed., Jan. 23rd and I finally brought home my first prosthesis.  I have posted a couple of pictures, as I am very proud of it.  I spent hours searching for just the right material to put into it and love how it turned out.  Aside from the cosmetics, it seems to fit well and for my first time ever walking on one, I think I did pretty well.  It does feel strange and a bit uncomfortable, but it seems to get better with each hour that I wear it.  Gosh, I'm so excited that I'm finally "up" again...it's been 4 months in a wheelchair/crutches.  Thanks to all of you who have sent encouraging messages (especially Ben & Jeff)...you guys have no idea how motivated you've kept me these past few months.  Thanks, Josh for this amazing site.

Rhonda, I think that we always need them more than they need us. I know it will take a little time to get use to your new circumstances, but it comes and you adapt and then realize it is no big deal. Life comes at you the way it does and all we can do is either adapt to it and accept it or get crushed in its wake. I believe that the Lord allows these things for a reason and at the right time you will be able to help someone else in similar circumstances through a rough time because of what you have been through.
