Well, you may have joined the site and now you're thinking 'What the heck do I do now?'
Perhaps you've already created a bit of a profile and told a bit of the story about yourself on your own weblog (BLOG) site?
You can also join and participate in GROUPS. There are like mini-sites within Less Than Four and have their own forums and photo albums amongst other things. So far the list of groups and what they are about is as below:
- Discussion The original discussion area started by Josh and currently the most active for general discussion. About the group: "Ask questions and get answers from the amputee community."
- Relationships This is the place to talk about anything that would relate to anyone who would like to help improve their relationships, or discuss how to do handle a relationship. If someone has any suggestions, recommendations, or whats a shoulder to lean on, here it is. The loss of a limb does not ever have to mean that any part of someones life ends. You can continue, and be as happy as ever, if not more! Please post your story here.

- Defenders of Freedom This group is for Military members and Veterans that now find themselves as Amputees. Just to connect to others who find themselves in the same position. Hopefully to share information.
- Curious Everyone has questions or are very curious about the lifestyles of amputees. Whether it's a friend, family member or anyone that wants to know more about people living with limb loss. Here is a place where amputees can fill in the people that want to more, or give advice to new amputees.
- Less Than 1% Hemipelvectomy (or transpelvic amputation)& Hip-disarticulation are the rarest of lower extremity amputations. A complete hemipelvectomy is the amputation of half of the pelvis and the leg on that side. A hip-disarticulation is the amputation through the hip joint capsule, removing the entire lower extremity. Hemipelvectomy/Hip-Disarticulation may be required for several reasons, such as a car accident or cancer. Examples of cancers that can require HPs or HDs are sarcomas like Ewing's Sarcoma, osteosarcoma or chondrosarcoma. People who have experienced a hemipelvectomy may or may not qualify for a prosthesis. For those who do qualify, it takes 100% to 200%+ more energy to walk on their prosthetic leg than "normal" walking. "Hemis & Hips" make up less than 1% of the amputee world population! It can get lonely out there for us HPs & HDs! So come on in for a chat...
- No Limb-Its! Since I've been an Amputee, I've met and reconnected with some more than amazing amputees. This group features you and your amazing achievements. Feel free to nominate someone you feel is awesome, unbelievable or otherwise mind-boggling bada$$. I'll start below with a guy who blows my mind.

- No Pros I've found that there are many amps out there who don't wear pros. They've decided to make due with what they have. This club is devoted to them.

A loving place to be honest about the trials and challenges, the love and the pain, and the strength of the ties that bind us together. An understanding place to ask questions share frustrations and express emotions. A great place to celebrate overcoming lifes challenges and to honor the triumphs no matter how big or small.

Warning - Jokes and Humour are subjective, and a joke which one person finds funny, another person may find offensive.
