In 5 years, I have never, even with the girls i've been chasing, been able to just say cancer, and leave it at that.

I hate doe-eyed addmiration, there I said it.
I am in this position because i didn't listen to my body, I wasn't born without, or had limbs removed by childhood disease, or traffic accident.
I lost my arm, beacuse i let loss of feeling in my hand go on too long, thinking it was a pinched muscle or nerve.
If i hear one more person say how in awe of me they are, i think i'm going to get sugar shock.
I do what i have to do because that is the path that was laid out, and i'm too dang stubborn to just fold up and die.

I realized how bitter this post was after reading both bens, and davids comments. and also realized that was not necessarily the way i meant it. so it seemed appropriate to issue the correction the same way. things will get better, Ben is right, but you should always sit on a draft thats emotional for a day or twwo before publishing.
I bowl on a league, every friday night, most bowling shoes that are adult, are not velcro but laces. so, to keep enjoying the sport, I learned to tie my own shoeds and really thought no more of it.
