    Hi Mike: Thanks for the words of encouagement. Very interesting that you bought your home after your amputation. That gives me hope that I can persivere these stairs. That is what I am hoping for.

    I have given thought to a left foot gas pedal. And that was my one concern, that in an emergency "would I find the brake pedal quickly". I am guessing that we can train our brain to do something if we want it bad enough.
    By the way, I love your home/bio site.

    Thanks Mike, that helps a bit.I have concidered having the leg broke and straghtened. Lately I think I have just missed running I use to love it.

    I really sat down and looked at my own leg and tried to imagine it being gone. And I can't. So I can't say that I know what it would be like. I won't lie about it.

    BTW, he lost his last month. Its all the way to the hip.

    It's just really hard right now.

    Hi Mike, thanks for the suggestion..ive just tried to change my settings etc and no matter what i do, i can't seem to change the background.....help??

    so, you're in melbourne huh??? most peeps on this site are american. do you ever use the less than four website? i saw the founder of that on andrew denton.
    if you can help me change my background colour ( i thought i was good on computers, maybe its coz i have a mac? ) that would be much appreciated

    I've got a few stairs there, but by the looks of those tires, I would say a couple of stair wouldn't be much of a problem. Come on by the next snow fall.
